I have eaten in IKEA Restaurants for decades. It's a good start before the shopping. Lots of choices. Family friendly. Soups and rolls are yummy. Meatballs is a must. Had some cakes and drinks too. Reasonable prices. 4.5/5.

Went late afternoon, into the restaurant and had sausage and mash with a coffee to boot. If you haven't tried an IKEA breakfast/lunch please, do it.

We had a terrible visit to IKEA Nottingham today
After seeing mouldy fruit in the fruit bowls we decided to give it the benefit of the doubt as our kids were hungry. We picked up glasses by the check outs that were filthy so didn’t get a drink. After paying for our food we sat down, about a third of the cafe was full but there was not one clean table.
The final straw was when we went to get a spoon for my son and picked up a very obviously used spoon from the clean cutlery. At this point I was so upset and concerned about the lack of hygiene we left to wash our hands in the nearby MandS, leaving our un eaten food and trolley behind.
I honestly think this is unacceptable and was genuinely disgusted by the lack of hygiene that the cafe has

Today, June 29, 2024, I visited the hotdog stand in Nottingham. The hygiene standards were very poor. The employee frequently touched their face, trousers, and the tablet used for orders before handling the hotdog buns with their fingers to assemble the hotdog and toppings. This caused me to lose my appetite immediately. Proper hygiene training is urgently needed. The employee did not wear gloves, but it is possible to serve food without directly touching it by using napkins and food grabbers correctly.

We are disappointed with the IKEA breakfast. Quality of the food is not the best, trays are dirty and we had hair on the sausage. Few years ago IKEA was a nice place for morning meal but now standards changed a lot.

First of all we noticed that the trays were dirty, the knifes, forks and spoons were also dirty, I chose to use the plastic ones instead, my friend wiped hers down with whet wipes,the food was well cooked and the fish was very good. I can't see me eating there again especially with the memories of the brown substance on one of their spoons but all their utensils are dirty and unhygienic.

They ran out of the veggie main for the roast and wouldn't do a plate of roast veg at a slightly discounted price or substitute the main for cauliflower cheese (unit cost £1.50). My partner had already paid so I had nothing. I don't think my request was unreasonable or difficult.

Cutlery, plates and trays are dirty. They don't wash them properely. :( But the food is great.

Just warm meat balls, Just warm old chips, Just warm peas, Just warm gravy. Was cold out today, cant imagine it going down well in Sweden where its much colder.

Absolutely appalling customer service , first remove your board outside that says plant meatballs are £3 because at till they are £4.50 and also remove your board inside restaurant that says you get a free drink with your soup , when at the till the girl on both of these said what do you expect me to do , that’s the price that’s come through on till , most rude when I said we’ll get the manager then , with that she rolled her eyes and walked off , another girl came on till and said we will sort it , as for the free drink she said you don’t get one , talk about false advertising, get your prices and staff sorted , they need a lesson in customer service

In the past few years, I used to go for dinner every week, but in the past few months, I began to find that the cleanliness of the restaurant was very problematic. Many employees were chatting and did not work in time. When I went to the restaurant at 6:30, more than half of the restaurant was closed. It's hard to find clean seats. The table and the floor were very dirty, and it was left like this until restaurant closed . It seems that this restaurant really has nothing to do with IKEA ... The attitude of the kitchen staff also needs to be improved. Even they provide only a few things, but they still confused. May be ikea pay salary not very good , so no staffs enjoy their jobs .

We went yesterday. The last couple of times we've been have been disappointing. Very little choice, dirty tables etc. Today we asked for vegetarian meatballs. As soon as we bit into them we felt sick. We'd been given the ordinary meatballs. I took them straight back to the girl who served us and told her. "To which she said "oh. who served you?" She did! And it was less than 5 minutes ago. Half hearted apology and replaced meal. We will definitely not be going again. Awful.

I am a regular visitor. Last year noticed dramatic food quality decline. First visit in 2023 very disappointing - portions smaller price’s higher, limited choice of simplified dishes, and a horrible taste of watery coffee.

Had fish and chips.. If I had a cat.. It would have not eaten it.. Cold and no taste.. Not be eating there again...
